My portfolio is distinctively based on a range of skills and set of technologies. Beside doing a lot of multimedia & graphics design projects, my main focus has been on web engineering & database development. My eagerness to dig & learn emerging technologies helps me in exploring & leveraging my potential.
I have been doing multimedia & design projects because I have always enjoyed doing that, whereas web engineering is my passion; my keenness to achieve professional excellence in every single project gives me the strength to supersede my project goals.

"Indra Travel, one of the London's leading travel company needed to revamp its travel portal, and provide its customers with comprehensive online facilities."
The portal design was a great challenge for me, as I had to design at-least 4, 5 distinct portal templates, and the final design speaks for itself. The portal is being developed on cutting edge .net platform and utilizes smart technologies to serve various customer services, including online reservations, package comparisons, blogs, reviews, galleries and more. |

"The customer wanted a visitor friendly website with ease of use at the administration level as well."
The solution is an automated & comprehensive shopping cart supporting major payment gateways with fully functional administration panel for website maintenance. Features include multi-level categories, wish lists, recently viewed product tracking, invoice history, product review and rating, tell a friend and more. |

"Although many RSS Aggregators are available in the market, but I needed the freedom of choosing, archiving and above all required effective web based management, so I designed my own"
Advanced RSS Aggregator is a web based application that collects user defined RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds, stores & maintains entries in its database. Through a comprehensive management interface, admin can Edit & Approve RSS items such as News & Articles to appear on its website. The management system includes archiving, editing, emailing, deleting & approval facilities. Advanced RSS aggregator is serving RSS based News & Articles section in 7 Herbion locations websites & Corporate Intranet. |

|
Designed & developed corporate website of Herbion International Inc. Herbion required multi-lingual (English & Russian) comprehensive web presence in all the seven countries of its operations. The centralized architecture of the website is designed for maximized exposure and ease of maintenance. Some of the website's major components include:

The website was Search Engine Optimized for improved visibility & exposure to the search engine searches. Ultimately within few months the website's PageRank climbed from 0 to 3 and improved its results for search engines. (Previously for the Keyword "Herbion", Herbion website never showed up in the first page of the results, Another company's product with the same name of "Herbion" topped the results) |

Gettech Flash Portal |
|
Developed Flash version of Gettech Pakistan website. The project utilized the most cutting edge Flash MX based techniques to make it load faster & efficient without compromising look & feel of the portal. The complete portal was first vertorized and then animated to keep it very light in size, contents are loaded upon request thus making accessibility & loading process even faster.
Personally of all the Flash based developmental projects I have done I love this website the most of all.. |

Simply Search Engine Optimization |
|
Simply required a solution of easily updatable and highly optimized websites for search engines. HTML generators were written in order to generate HTML pages based on ‘Simply’ hotels databases. These HTML generators generate thousands of search engine optimized pages containing hotels information from all over the world.

Also developed a ‘Data Integrator’ utility in Visual Basic for various ‘Simply’ databases. This utility imports database from several databases; removes inconsistencies and ports the data in the central database in SQL Sever 2000.
